Our terms of business :

Unless we have otherwise agreed specific exceptions in writing, our terms of business are as follows (V 1.0 Nov 13):


Credit and payment - We are pleased to provide our Clients with 15 days credit form the date of issue of invoice.

In these difficult times, we regret that we reserve the right to charge costs and statutory interest in respect of accounts that have been outstanding for longer than 6 weeks, and also to suspend any further work until matters have been satisfactory resolved.

Copyright and licence etc. - We retain the copyright of our designs, drawings and documents, and we grant our Clients a licence to use copyrighted material for the execution of the design on a single occassion and the maintenance of the completed building from time to time afterwards, subject to payment being made in full. We don't accept responsibility for information used outside the terms of copyright or for other than the specific purpose of issue.

3rd parties, consultants and statutory fees - The fees for 3rd parties, consultants and statutory submissions or lodgements etc are due for payment directly from our Clients.

Comments and complaints - Any comments or complaints should be directed to the partner in charge in the first instance, who will deal with them in accordance with the requirements of the quality system and the Chartered Practice scheme.

Terminating our relationship - Just occassionally it doesn't turn out. Our appointment may be terminated by mutual agreement with one month's notice from either party, but to include full remittance of any sums due.
