We’ve been carrying out “home projects” like these for over 20 years, and have developed an approach designed specifically to reduce the risk and lower the stress:

• Developing a bespoke design side by side with you, specific to your requirements and identifying the opportunities and challenges.
• Navigating the statutory maze of permitted development, planning approval, building regulations, party walls and CDM regulations – monitoring the progress of your planning application and providing good, reliable advice when you need it.
• Producing comprehensive tender documents – so you can be sure what you’re going to end up with and builders are sure what to price – and ensuring that tender prices are truly comparable.
• Setting up a simple form of building contract which is quite clear about who does what / when & who pays for what and when.
• Follow up during work on site, as often as required.
