Housing design and delivery has changed a lot during this time, so we have become familiar with the requirements of, for example, the NPPF, Lifetime Homes, Housing Quality Indicators, NHBC (and other warranty providers), Building for Life, GLA - The Mayor's Plan for London, GLA - best practice for wheelchair accessible housing, compliant travel plans for inner London boroughs, and Secured by Design; to say nothing of increasingly complex local planning policy, more onerous building regulations and the differing requirements of half a dozen different housing associations.
